2. Principle of Data Minimization

BeatFocus is designed with a strict privacy-first approach. The application operates fully offline and does not transmit any app data to us or to third parties.

3. App Data (Local Storage Only)

All data created within BeatFocus (including sessions, projects, timestamps, and settings) is stored exclusively on your local device.
The application may periodically check for new versions by requesting a small version file from our server. No personal data is stored, analyzed, or linked to individual users in this process.

We do not have access to this data, and it is never uploaded, synchronized, or processed on external servers.

4. Email Communication

If you contact us via email, your email address and message content will be used solely for the purpose of handling your request and will not be used for marketing or shared with third parties.

5. Website Access & Server Logs

When visiting our website (beatfocus.app), our hosting provider may automatically process technical server log data (e.g. IP address, access time, browser information).

This processing is necessary for technical operation and security and is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. External Resources (Google Fonts)

Our website may load icon fonts (Material Symbols) via Google Fonts CDN. This may result in a connection to Google servers and the transmission of technical connection data.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use BeatFocus for personal productivity and creative workflow purposes.

4. User Content

All data created within the app remains your property. We do not access or process your content.

5. Warranty Disclaimer

BeatFocus is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by Austrian law.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Austrian law. Jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Austria.
